East 4 South is your chance to see development in action. Young European media professionals will team up with experienced African journalists and report from the field. You'll capture the story and share it with the world, learning tricks of the trade from veteran journalists.

The selection process of cycle 4 has started!

Selected teams of participants from cycle 1,2 and 3 will be announced end of April 2012. They will have two months to get to know each other and to set up a topic for interesting journalistic projects regarding deeper analysis of MDGs and Development Aid in Africa. By the end of June/beginning of July the EPs will gather in Frankfurt for a small “kick of meeting”. From there they will all fly to different African countries to meet their AP counter partners. East 4 South-Unique African Stories are now showing on a Zambian television station(MUVI TV)

The station, which I work for in Zambia has started showing a series of the East4South stories/items that were produced on the African continent.



Yesterday, I watched 'Malawi the Plight of the Children'



The hope of management is to show the items on our sister Channel, Africa Unite whose area of coverage is the entire continent.



So African participants: this might be an opportunity to see/view your work.

As I watch the play 2 +X Welten at Pumpenhaus in Muenster, I was carried away by the spirit of the cast, they remind me so much of the kids I come across daily on my street back home in Jos Nigeria.
